Worked as a photographer and digital creator for khabar news agency. Born in Gaza city and studied at Amman Arab University in Jordan. His sister Hala wrote about him: "you weren't just my brother but you were my friend and support and love and everything in my life. God have mercy on your soul my heart's core. Your passing broke both my heart and my back..." He was injured in his arm before being killed while covering the Eastern side in Gaza.

Killed by an Israeli airstrike that hit a residential building near Gaza City's fishing port. The Hamas-run government said that the reporter was covering the evacuation of a residential building nearby, when the missile struck.
